IDAHO FALLS – If you have a family reunion or other occasion coming up this summer and want to spice up the party atmosphere, a local business may be able to help.

Holly Cruz and her boyfriend, Sidney Wynn, opened Foam King Party Rentals in May. Cruz tells EastIdahoNews.com that they have booked parties almost every weekend since their launch and that customers have responded favorably.

“The clients we have had recommended us. We had a party that was scheduled for four, and he decided he wanted to make five. He recommended us to all his friends and family and hopefully his wedding, ”said Cruz. “It was a really positive experience. Everyone loved it.

A foam part consists of an inflatable pit 13 feet by 13 feet and 3 feet deep. It has an inflatable floor, similar to an inflatable house. A solution is mixed with the water inside the pit, and a giant fan blows air over it, creating a bubbly foam that quickly fills the pool. See what it looks like in the video player above.

It’s usually inflated outdoors, which means it’s great in hot weather. Wynn comes to your house to install it and takes care of it all the time so that there is no hassle for the customers. It takes about an hour to set it up and take it down, and it is disinfected after each use. Disco lights are available for those who wish to have a party at night.

Cruz says they have rented inflatable houses several times over the past few years and originally wanted to open their own inflatable house rental business. They eventually opted for foam pits after finding out that there were a lot of inflatable house rentals in the area.

“We wanted something different that wasn’t in the area and that’s what we found,” says Cruz.

Foam parties were a popular trend in the 1990s, says Cruz, and she remembers going to several foam parties when she was in high school.

Cruz says that it is gratifying to see the smiles on the faces of the people who organize these parties.

One of their biggest events to date was the celebration of Priddaho in Pocatello last month. They will be having a party at the Mint Bar in Roberts next month.

Cruz says they hope the business will continue to grow. They would like to book more nights and work with more clients in eastern Idaho.

The rental cost for the foam pit is $ 100 per hour. To find out more or to book an evening, contact Cruz or Wynn via the company’s Facebook page.
