Summer weather is still here in western New York, although it has been quite rainy this year.
Summer events are in full swing around Buffalo and Western New York, but it’s never too early to start planning for fall and it’s safe to say this area is amazing for the fall months. . Seriously, the fall foliage here is phenomenal, especially in the south level.
If you’re into fall foliage and train rides, here’s some great news.
The Fall Foliage Train Ride at the Attica & Arcade Railroad is back this fall, according to their website, with dates running throughout October.
Train trips take place every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday from October 2 to 17. It takes you through the beautiful fall foliage in the southern part of western New York City and there are even kids’ activities and concessions.
When I was a child, trains were my number one passion. I love to collect toy trains and my dad had model trains. Taking a train trip might as well have been going to Chuck-E-Cheese for me. The sound of the tracks and moving scenery is second to none, and the fall foliage setting is honestly the best time of year for it.
I know, I know, it’s still summer so let’s make the most of it first. It’s never too early to expect something like this though.
